Residential & Day Programs

Services depend upon the needs of the individual. The goal of each residential service is to support our customers in becoming as independent as possible in their home and community life.

• Small group home environment of 5 or 6 beds

• Those in their own private homes….

• Supported in their household management, budgeting, community interaction skills.

Life Skills Development & Education

We support and educate our customers through individualized programming that emphasizes personal skills development, social skills development, and activities of daily living with the goal of enhanced community engagement.

• We offer a variety of work related sites (enclaves) to support and initaite earning a wage through competitive employment.

​

• Our sites include janitorial, production, packaging, and assembly in the light industry and restaurant arena.

• Small groups of 5-10 workers go out to seven different locations on a daily basis.

​

• For those who are ready for competitive employment, we work with vocational rehabilitation to successfully place them with an employer that is consistent with their needs, interests and abilities.

Transportation

In order for those we serve to best be able to access services, we provide transportation to and from our facilities and community-based programs.

Outreach

The Arc engages in strategic partnerships with other disability and civil rights organizations to amplify its impact and ensure that people with I/DD have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
